Appointments

Appointments can be made by ringing us on (02) 9633 1837 or visiting us in person.

You do not need a referral to see a Podiatrist. However, a GP referral is required for eligible patients under Medical Concession Schemes such as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program (Medicare); Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) or Workers’ Compensation.

You will be asked to fill out an information sheet that tells us your medical history, current medications and insurance details. If you have a referral please hand it to reception upon arrival.

What to bring?…

  • If you are attending to have the way you walk assessed please bring shorts so we can see how your legs and feet move,
  • Shoes that are giving you problems or you wear most of the time.
  • Old or current orthotics.
  • Relevant X-rays or ultrasounds.

Full payment of your account is required at the time of consultation. We accept Mastercard, Visa, EFTPOS, personal cheque and cash. You are responsible for paying any gap that is not covered by Medicare or your health fund.

Ozfeet Podiatry has HICAPS which allows you to claim from your private health insurance on the spot. Please check with your individual insurance provider for specific benefits.

We can process Medicare Claims for eligible patients who have (a) a current EPC doctor’s referral; (b) their Medicare card; and (c) an EFTPOS card connected to their savings account to claim the benefit.

Please ensure that your billing details are accurate and alert staff promptly of any changes in your details.

Ozfeet participates in student placements from University of Western Sydney and the University of Newcastle. You may be asked if you are happy to be treated by a student under the supervision of a fully qualified Podiatrist, or if the student is allowed to stay in the room during your consultation. We will not be offended in any way if you say no to students.

We do not, and will not, at any time in the future share your personal information with a third party.  Click here to view our privacy policy.

Ozfeet reserves the right to cancel your appointment in the event you are running more than 10 minutes late.
